STOLEN IDENTITY REPORT

E. Unsuspecting woman becomes target for dumpster divers. Thieves get $20,000 plus. Report 23.

Eric Drew - While leukemia was taking his life, a hospital worker was taking his identity. His life depended on his credit. Even though the thief was caught fairly quickly, it took this victim 2 ½ years to clear his name. Report 9.

Ginny - Her bank told her money was used to pay a cell phone (that she didn’t have), soon other utilities, and other fraudulent collectors wanted money. Report 20.

Holly - Was mugged , thieves took her information, and became her. Report 1.

Ida - Left in tears, after placing a fraud alert, her thief re-rerouted fraud alert calls to himself, and no one can do a thing to help her.

Andrew - Thieves took his mail. Report 1.

Ann - Florida gas station clerk stole her debit card information, shortly after she became a victim her checking account was withdrawn on from Washington state. Report 20.

Anndorie - Hospital called to say her baby tested positive for drugs, the next day the police showed up to arrest her. The baby was not hers, but now the bills are. Report 11.

Anonymous - Tells the real truth of idenity theft, it’s not so much that it happen to you, but the endless task of restoring your identity with no help. S-6/19/2008.

Audre - Went to apply for work, and was told she already worked for the company, and 200 other companies. Report 10.

Bill - A banker, accused of online gambling charges - Report 29.

Brandon - Some took some cars out for a test drive in his name, then had stolen the cars, and made him a victim of medical identity theft - S-4/3/2008.

Brian - His mortgage lender stole his identity and became him, literally. Report 20.

Catherine - Thieves made her a victim by taking wallet while shopping. Report 1.

Cliff - Former farmer had his personal information stolen over Christmas holiday. Report 17.

Cynthia - Her personal information was taken during a car jacking. Report 26.
