Tip 13: When you get explanation of insurance benefits or insurance / hospital bills read through it, don’t just throw away.
Tip14: Once a year get copies of your kids (under 18) credit report.
Tip 15: When entering personal information online, make sure it’s in a secure site. Watch for the pad lock in lower right corner, hover mouse over pad lock (should tell who secures the site). If using Fox Fire as your browser, when on a secure site, the address bar (top of page) turns yellow in the background. Tip 16: When setting up a password, never use your mothers maiden name, or any part of your social security number. The best passwords will have, small and capital letters, numbers and symbols in them, and be at least 8 characters long.
Tip 17: Never give out personal information on the phone unless you know who you’re dealing with, and you initiated the call. (Form of pharming).
